A&D Announces John Patela as new Business Development Manager for the Central Region

San Jose, CA – April 15, 2010

A&D Weighing is proud to welcome John Patela as the new Central Region Business Development Manager. He will be managing the 13 states formerly covered by Tim Campbell.

John comes to us with extensive industrial and laboratory experience. At Houghton International, a manufacturer of high performance metalworking fluids and specialty chemicals, John managed strategic relationships with key customers in the automotive, aerospace, agricultural, construction, forestry, mining and industrial markets. He has worked at Cole Parmer as a technical sales representative where he sold laboratory and industrial products to industrial, university, food manufacturing, and pharmaceutical accounts. Prior to that, he held positions at Wisconsin Controls and Controls International selling industrial controllers as well as force and torque measuring devices. During his sales tenures at the various companies, John has always grown his region by securing new accounts or growing existing business.

John and his wife Jan live in Plainfield, Illinois, with their son Nick who is 11, and their Corgi and Australian cattle dogs. He likes to fish, play golf and go camping. Please join us in welcoming him to A&D.
